Historic architecture, eclectic art collection, unique room keys
A lot could be improved here!!! Maintenance issues, such as peeling paint and poor cleanliness, detract from the charm. Wi-Fi intermittently fails, making it hard to stay connected!!! An update on bathroom fixtures would also be appreciated!!!

great stay with minor quirks
The host was incredibly gracious and made us feel welcomed right away. The historic ambiance of the house truly sets it apart. you can feel the charm in every corner! We enjoyed a quiet night's sleep in our clean and comfortable room, making the experience delightful. Additionally, the easy access to parking was a huge plus, allowing us to explore freely.
However, the lack of clear signage made it a bit tricky to find the entrance at first.

We really enjoyed the fascinating history shared by the owner. Plus, our comfortable room made it a nice place to wind down after visiting the nearby pizza spot, which should not be missed. It had the best toppings fresh out of the oven.
My wife says that the cleanliness could be greatly improved, especially for families with little ones. It’s essential to have a pristine environment for peace of mind.

Quirky art collection fills the common spaces, giving a rich historical vibe that's hard to replicate. The neighborhood has a charming small square that feels serene, perfect for a morning stroll before heading out to explore the city.
The property shows its age with multiple maintenance issues, such as peeling paint and inconsistent plumbing. Some rooms, while unique, present cleanliness concerns, as linens had stains and the presence of musty odors were notable. Additionally, the setup could feel like wandering through someone's cluttered home, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea. The plumbing wasn't always reliable, and I experienced a bathroom light bulb that was out, making early morning routines a bit tricky. A late check-in at 6 PM isn't ideal when you want to start your evening plans early, though it’s helpful to leave luggage temporarily.
